In addition to taking all the steps to follow crucial safety guidelines for yourself and your family, what can you do to help the individuals and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic? There are many different ways you can support with your time.

Volunteer Response Team 

KACF-SF's Volunteer Response Team campaign will enable us to address the diverse and evolving needs of our community–whether it's supporting the most vulnerable populations or translating materials. Please join them to ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable are reflected in its response to the emergency, especially through uncertain times.

Collaborative Network 

Join the Bay Area Korean Community Collaborative network: Looking for bilingual Korean volunteers to support the Korean community including, LEP seniors, low-wage workers, and small business owners. We need people with skills to: translate materials to English to Korean, create videos or info workshops by professionals, develop/use digital technologies, come up with creative solutions to food delivery for seniors! Korean American Community Services (KACS)

Call for Drivers and Food Deliverers

KACS is hiring volunteer drivers and food deliverers. If you can help with food distribution, lunch delivery, and grocery delivery to home-bound seniors, please contact KACS.

Requirements:

- Speak basic conversational Korean

- Driver's license (must be at least 21 years of age who can drive within Santa Clara County

- Able to work morning and lunchtime (usually 8-10 am or 11 am-1 pm depends on the program)

Compensation:

$18/hr +  mileage
