Simple Steps 2022 Highlights

As we wrap up the year and prepare for the next one, it’s worth looking back at how far we’ve come and achieved together. 2022 was another great year as a community. Simple Steps marked its 5th anniversary on May 1st and held an offline event for the first time since 2020. We planned and executed 49 programs and events throughout the year online and in person. Meeting our members in Southern California and Seattle was a great pleasure.

Our strong network of passionate individuals created an impact not just in the U.S. but globally - from nine countries. And the more members, supporters, and corporate partners we met, the more confident we were in our mission to empower talented immigrant women to pursue their careers and to continue developing their potential.

This year, we built on the momentum through volunteer engagement that leveraged dedicated individuals who voluntarily stepped up to lead the diverse study and interest groups to support each other. That is how Simple Steps can continue growing as a sustainable community organization with unique strengths and values.
