Join our Q&A session with one of the industry's best recruiters. We'll be talking mainly about all things related to hiring in product design and product management but feel free to come with questions about anything you want to discuss with Em! This is an open conversation driven by questions and moderated by Jee Kang. Hope to see you there!

Em started her career as a community organizer. After a decade of working on political campaigns and public policy, she got recruited to be a recruiter (her father refers to it as a tow truck towing a tow truck). As luck would have it, Em got a chance to interview at Google in 2013 for a Recruiting Coordinator position. During the interview, Em convinced the Manager to hire her as a Recruiter. Google opened doors for Em into a world she never knew existed and got her foot into the door to eventually work with Airbnb, Quizlet, a variety of start-ups, and now at Reddit. Currently, Em recruits Product Managers but has experience working with teams to hire: Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers, and Researchers.
