Employers in every industry uses LinkedIn to find candidates, and it is important to make sure your LinkedIn profile shows your skills and experience clearly. Simple Steps will host LinkedIn Bootcamp for those who want to create, or revise their LinkedIn profile for 3 weeks in June 2020. Before kicking off the bootcamp, we have an orientation meetup with Professor Yeong Seon Kang who will talk about her job search experience in the United States and how she joined LinkedIn for the first time and how she is using LinkedIn now. She will also talk about the importance of LinkedIn in the career development and networking. Prof. Yeong Seon Kang (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Business School, University of Seoul, Korea, and a mother of a 9-year-old son. She obtained Ph.D. degrees of marketing from University of California, Irvine. Prior to coming to the academy, she worked at Samsung Electronics for two years as Product Manager.
