About KACS: KACS is a community-based organization to improve the quality of life of all Korean-Americans in Santa Clara County, focusing on those who are most at-risk, including seniors, low-income individuals, and youth, by increasing access to existing community resources and providing opportunities for community involvement and civic engagement.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Community Engagement Specialist who is a highly motivated, energetic, and independent team player to carry our mission together. The Community Engagement Intern will help the community outreach coordinator and communication manager with outreach, to organize events and workshops, to attend the other non-profit organizations’ meetings and training.
Qualifications:
Current undergrad, graduate student, or recently graduated student with a focus in Communications, Marketing, Sociology, Social Work, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills English, bilingual Korean preferred
High level of organizational skills
General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media including Facebook/Instagram
Driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
Experience with event planning, marketing/communications preferred
