Calling All Craftswomen

"Her Creations: Handmade Arts & Crafts Fair"

We are looking for women of handcrafted arts and crafts to participate in “Her Creations: Handmade Arts & Crafts Fair” on November 1 & 2, 2019. We are accepting a wide range of works including paintings, drawings, sculptures, jewelry, textiles, photography, culinary arts and more. “Her Creations” is a great opportunity to showcase your talent as well as special gifts before the holidays.

The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2019. Early applications are encouraged as space is limited. Selected applicants will be notified within 7 days from the deadline.

New Initiative: Mock Interview

Simple Steps is starting a mock interview initiative with Hana Park, a former executive recruiter.

If you want to try a 30-minute mock interview, please email careers@simplestepscc.org with your full name, phone number, resume, and one paragraph on your biggest challenge in preparing the interview.

Hana most recently worked as an executive recruiter and helped accounting and finance professionals and companies in the greater Seattle area to find ideal matches. Before that, she worked as an auditor, data analytics manager, finance and operations manager, and corporate strategy executive in Technology, Insurance, and Finance industries at start-up companies, a mid-size regional company, and a Fortune 500 company. Hana also participated in community building and board leadership positions at non-profit organizations.

About the speaker:

Reynold has coached professionals at every career stage, from returning homemakers to rapidly rising stars and mid-career managers. During his 30+ year career coaching and executive search career, including 20+ years at Egon Zehnder, he has enjoyed working cross-culturally with clients from across the US, Europe, and Asia. He is a licensed attorney in New York and California and teaches Business Law at UCSC.
