Have you ever heard of people not needing a resume to secure their next job? Yes, it happens! While it's always ideal to have one, if you network well, sometimes you don't need a resume to secure that first call. Sometimes, you know about a role before it opens up to the public. There are so many benefits of networking to do your job search. In fact, after the first recruiting internship, Jee's never had to submit a resume to secure her first interview, so she can tell you first-hand, it works.
Are you not sure how to connect with someone you've never crossed paths with? This workshop will give you an idea of how to reach out to those people. You don't have to be job searching to gain from this workshop.
Most people start networking when they start needing something right away, but in order for you to get the most out of networking, you should ALWAYS be networking. For this very reason, this networking workshop is for everyone and anyone. At some point in your life, it's going to be useful.
This 3-week workshop aims to understand HOW to network and understand how to draft an email/reach out. We will be sharing different avenues you can use to network (some are unconventional) and also will show you concrete reach-out examples that worked well. We offer the networking workshop ONLY one time this year, so please don’t miss out on this opportunity!
