Simple Hour Hosts
Chloe Park, Community Manager
Chloe Park has years of experience in product management and service development in the tech industry such as online multiplayer games, virtual community, eCommerce. She has launched educational learning programs for kids in various areas from Lego science to Family movie nights. Chloe loves stories, new ideas, and connections with people who have diverse backgrounds.
Jihye Woo, Designer
Jihye Woo is a product designer who loves to solve people's problems. She is currently studying M.S. in Information Experience Design student at Pratt Institute in New York. She has had a keen interest in communications through the media and has craved the opportunity to use her creativity to produce content. This impulse led her to launch a career as a TV producer at GS SHOP in Korea. However, she was captivated by the opportunities that innovative UX designs offered to make people's lives better during her study at San Jose State University. As a result, she has immersed herself in UX design and pursued a new career goal. At Simple Steps, she creates designs and leads a UX/Product designer group. She is always eager to learn new things stepping outside of her comfort zone.
Hyemin Jung, Research Intern
Before joining Simple steps, Hyemin Jung worked at KOTRA Chicago as a market research consultant, Booth School of Business Center for Decision Research as a research assistant, and LG Management and Development Institute as a training and development associate. She holds M.A in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a B.B.A from Yonsei University. She is passionate about analyzing data to address social challenges and find solutions. She is happy to join Simple steps and looking forward to growing together with Simple steps members.

You can even simply drop by to say hello and network. Visit us anytime during the Simple Hour. No registration is required.
Simple Steps is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower immigrant women to pursue their career aspirations by building a community for female talents, providing self-development and skill-building training programs, and connecting them with job opportunities with local employers to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
We seek out early-stage startups looking to hire a more diverse and inclusive team to grow with the company. Since many Simple Steps members have care-giving responsibilities, we pride ourselves on working with companies with flexible work hours and work from home options. Furthermore, Simple Steps encourages anyone who seeks to change their career path by providing workshops and training programs with our business partners.
